Linda and Keith bought their MGB Roadster in 1998.  The car was first registered in 1970 and in 1992 underwent a complete rebuild, with a new Heritage shell being fitted.  Some mechanical parts were transferred but a number of items replaced including the fitting of a new wiring loom.

In 1996 a stage 2 unleaded engine was fitted.  In total something in the order of £6.000 had been spent on restoration before it was purchased in 1998.  It is interesting that no further work has been necessary in the 10 years that Linda and Keith have owned the car, apart from a new stainless steel exhaust system and a new petrol pump.
